Danny Doyle has re-signed for the 2019 season, the 19 year old striker/attacking midfielder from Carlow eager to get back to action in Ferrycarrig after a long hard season in 2018.

"2018 was a learning curve for myself and the younger players at the club. It was tough, but I enjoyed it." Danny confirmed. "I can't wait to get back and am really looking forward to kicking off the 2019 season with Brian, David and the team."

Danny has been at Wexford FC since 2017 (having previously played at U17 level for Wexford Youths and Beagnalstown FC in Carlow before that). He made 21 appearances in all competitions in 2017 for the senior team as well as performing at U19 level for the club. In 2018 he made 25 appearances for the club at senior level with 18 starts including a Man of the Match performance against Athlone Town to top off a strong finish to the season.

Wexford FC will kick off the 2019 Airtricity League First Division with an away game against Athlone Town on 22nd February.
