#STRONGERTOGETHER

Wexford FC Another big weekend of action for our club, @WexfordFC Men have their final game of 2018 at Ferrycarrig, our U17s &… https://t.co/Towfcwu2w4

It has taken a while but Wexford FC are finally back at Ferrycarrig Park for the first time in 2018 for this EA Sports Cup First Round match against Cobh Ramblers.

We were knocked out at this stage last year by Waterford FC who coincidentally knocked Cobh out in the second round.

We met Cobh four times last season with a record of one draw and three narrow defeats so another close encounter is expected.  Cobh have actually met both of Wexford's opening 2018 opponents, drawing with Longford Town and also defeating Cabinteely at the weekend.

Damian Locke certainly can be happy with the amount of chances created against Longford in our defeat on Saturday night and if we can be a bit more clinical it gives us a great chance on progressing into the second round.

No injuries were reported from the weekend while both Aaron O Connor and Shane Barnes are back available for selection.

Kick off in Ferrycarrig Park is set for 8pm.
