Wexford FC will travel down the N25 on Friday evening in confident mood having picked up five points from the last nine available. They are now unbeaten in three games, and have kept a clean sheet in their last two.

Speaking ahead of the all South East encounter, manager Damian Locke was respectful of the Blues. "They're a very good side, and that is why they are top of the league. We will have to show them the respect that their league position deserves, but we won't go down there fearing them. We've played really well in recent weeks, and I feel confident going in to any game that we play"

On the suspension front, Andrew O'Connor is once again available for selection having served his three match ban, but Ricky Fox is still unavailable after seeing red in Cabinteely. Thomas Croke serves a one game ban after collecting eight yellow cards.

Adam Hanlon confirmed in the week that he will miss at least the next six weeks with an ankle injury picked up in training. He joins Sean Hurley on the treatment table, who is still suffering with a knee problem. On the flip side, the club welcomed Aaron Dobbs last weekend after he signed on loan from Shamrock Rovers for the remainder of the season. Wexford have not scored a goal against Waterford this season, and fans will be hoping that Dobbs could be the man to change that.

Games between Waterford and Wexford have averaged 3.5 goals per game this season, and you can have a look over the past results by clicking here.

Kick off in the RSC is set for 7:45pm
