Match Preview: Wexford Youths Women vs. Shelbourne LFC

Wexford Youths Women play their second home game of the 2017 Continental Women’s National League, welcoming their 2015 and 2016 FAI Cup Final opponents Shelbourne LFC.
Wexford Youths made it two wins from two games with their 4-0 win over Kilkenny United last Sunday, but they will face their biggest test yet with the arrival of the reigning champions.

Shelbourne have not made a dream start however, picking up just two points from their opening three games, making this already a critical tie in the Continental Tyres Women's National League.
Laura Heffernan was hopeful of a good result against the North Dublin side:
"Playing the current Champions is going to be a huge challenge, we have had a solid start to the season and we will be hoping to maintain that with a solid performance."

Tamara Furlong and Aisling Frawley are available once again, while Lauren Dwyer remains sidelined.  Ciara Rossiter, Rianna Jarrett and Edel Kennedy all remain long-term injury absences.
Kickoff at Ferrycarrig Park is set for 7.30pm
