Quick Fire Interview: Andrew O'Connor
What team do you support? Manchester United.
Who is your favourite player? Ander Herrera.
What is your best footballing memory? Getting capped for Ireland underage.
If you could sign any Irish player, past or present, for Wexford FC who would it be? It would have to be Roy Keane, he was an absolute warrior and a leader.
Best player you have played with? Alan Browne (currently with Preston North End in the English Championship), a superb athlete and quality on the ball too.
Best player you have played against? Barry McNamee (Derry City) was impressive last year against us. He has a great range of passing and seems to never lose the ball.
Who is the hardest training player with Wexford? I’d like to think I’d be up there! But besides myself Craig Wall and Thomas Croke always put in a shift.
Best dressed player? Adam Hanlon always comes in well dressed in a suit after work. In fairness to the lads, I haven’t seen anyone wear anything terrible in yet!
If you could choose any stadium to relocate to Wexford which would it be? Turners Cross.
If you could choose any FIFA 2017 rating to be rated 99 in which would it be? I wish I had 99 speed, it’d be great!
One thing you couldn’t live without? Besides football of course... Dogs.
And finally, would you prefer to score the goal or make the last ditch tackle that secures promotion? It has to be score the goal!
