Wexford FC Our postponed Leinster Senior Cup match with @Cabinteely_FC is now set to take place in Ferrycarrig Park on Tuesday… https://t.co/YDge77Fs5W

It was a more upbeat Damian Locke that spoke to the Wexford FC media team this week.

To most people leaving Ferrycarrig Park on Friday night, it would have felt like a defeat having witnessed Wexford concede such a late goal when it looked like they would pick up their first win of the season. Not to the manager though, "I think we all realise that it was a fair result, and we had worked hard all week on delivering a performance and not being too concerned with the result following a poor display last week."

Sean Eve made is debut for Wexford on Friday, and the boss had this to say: "Sean is an Australian lad who has been playing in the Gibraltar league last season. He is a defensive player with a great attitude and competitive edge."

Two notable absences from the squad on Friday evening were Adam Hanlon and John McKeown. "We are hoping to have Adam back in training this Monday. He just had a twinge in his knee following last week's game. John should be ok to train too"
