Wexford FC Our postponed Leinster Senior Cup match with @Cabinteely_FC is now set to take place in Ferrycarrig Park on Tuesday… https://t.co/YDge77Fs5W

Manager Damian Locke was once again left disappointed after this weekend's action

His team fell short against Cabinteely, going down 2-0 in Stradbrook. With Shelbourne picking up a point away to Cobh on Saturday afternoon, Wexford slipped to the foot of the table.

"I was really disappointed we conceded so early on. But even at 1-0 down, if either of our two efforts that hit the crossbar or post go in, then it could have been the kick start we needed."

One player to have impressed on a disappointing night was 18 year old forward Craig Hayes. "He's a player who has great potential. He led the line really well on Friday night. A lot of our good play went through him so I am looking forward to seeing him develop over the coming months."
